Nneka Chiazor is the Vice President of Public and Government Affairs for Cox Communications responsible for devising and delivering the corporation’s regional strategy for driving commercial growth and community impact. With an education in computer science from Concordia University Canada and business from Harvard Business School, Nneka brings extensive experience devising and executing economic and digital development strategies for Fortune 500 companies, including delivering over a quarter billion dollars in shareholder value and social capital over the course of her career. A proud champion of Connect2Compete, Cox’s novel approach to improving internet access and affordability for rural and low-income families, Nneka is a frequent presenter and guest speaker on promoting economic and digital equality, nationally and internationally including at the United Nations Forum for Women’s Economic Development in Vienna, Austria. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Virginia Public Access Project, a non-profit organization devoted to ensuring all Virginians have equal and accurate access to information on the state’s democracy.
A world traveler and proud American, Nneka enjoys living in Coastal Virginia with her darling husband and two delightful daughters.
