TechCelebration: NVTC's Annual Banquet
An NVTC Signature Event
October 30, 2013
5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Registration and Networking
6:30 - 9:15 p.m. Dinner and Program
Join NVTC and the Northern Virginia technology community Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the biggest networking event of the year: TechCelebration!
During the event, SAP Co-CEO Bill McDermott, who will become sole CEO of the global business software firm in 2014, will provide keynote remarks, offering a rare insight into the powerful yet often misunderstood millennial generation. Within the next decade, 75% of the workforce will be millennials. No single trend has a greater impact on business, government or the role of technology in the world. Despite their considerable power as employees and consumers, millennials remain largely misunderstood. McDermott will discuss the next greatest generation and challenge the technology industry to channel their passion and engage them.
TechCelebration will also feature the presentation of the 2013 Chairman's Award to Gov. Bob McDonnell, for his leadership in ensuring Virginia remains a top state for business, and the Earle C. Williams Lifetime Achievement Award to Former CEO of DynCorp Paul Lombardi, in recognition of his exceptional service to NVTC and the region's technology industry.
In addition, NVTC will announce the winners of the 2013 NVTC Innovator Awards, a new awards program honoring groundbreaking companies and technologies in our region's technology community.
